The pros and cons of working as a wild life ranger

  1. Talofa Joshua,

You written some fair pros and cons, I like that you organised them into lists to make each pro and con easier to identify. It would be great if you created a presentation that can be seen well as this document is a little on the small side, hence hard to read.

On the subject of pros you mentioned that lots of people live on Great Barrier Island, can you confirm if that is true? You also talked about how being a DOC Ranger is a very hard job, can you explain a bit about why it would be hard?

Personally, I wouldn't want to be a DOC Ranger because it just isn't my passion in life. This doesn't mean I don't care for the survival and conservation of animals, because I can always help in lots of different ways like donating.

Well done on completing another Summer Learning Journey post.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.

  2. It will be hard because you will be looking after the animals, like you will need to do loads of work and if the animals die it will be very sad and hard to live with. Because you have grown a personality with. Thank you for your reply

    1. Hey again Joshua.

I agree, it is very sad and hard losing an animal you have built some kind of friendship with. Good point. It's always nice to hear back! Keep cool in this weather.
