Out of those I would rather do the Milford track, because I love bush walks. And me and my mum will very enjoy it. I think that I would need to train more till I can do it. I think that if i will do it I will need to do It soon. I think that if I stay at the huts I would go to bed at 8 and wake up at 6 so we can go early.
Hi Joshua,
ReplyDeleteIt's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, writing to you from Canada. Isn't it amazing that we can be on opposite sides of the planet and yet both participate in this program?? Pretty cool, I'd say!!
I think it's super that you'd prefer to walk the Milford Track to see the Sound as you travel by foot. That's a huge effort but I agree with your choice 100%. Getting exercise and seeing something up close is so much more special, I think, than flying over it or gliding by it. The effort makes the experience more valuable!!!
I understand that the track is so popular that people have to book a place in the huts a year or so ahead of their trip. Wow!! I hope that you and your mum can make a plan and share that hike some day soon!! As you say, you'd probably be wise to train for it because it's a pretty tough hike, I think.
I'm enjoying reading your blog!! I hope you're enjoying the activities and also getting outside for some fun time during your summer holidays!!
Cheers,
Leslie
