It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. Where I live, in Canada, we don't have any green pools like this one, as far as I know. We have some geothermal activity in western Canada, but not in eastern Ontario where my home town is.
I think your names are hilarious and creative!! Mind you, if I wanted to have more tourists come to see the hot pool, I'm not sure I'd rename it "death by water"... but it seems like a realistic one because I'm not sure anyone would survive having a dip in it!!
Have you ever been to Rotorua? It's such a fascinating and mystical place. I didn't love the smell of the hydrogen sulphide that's in the air - it smells like rotten eggs all around the city. But the hot pools and geysers are amazing!!!
I'm really enjoying reading your blog. I'm so glad you're part of this Summer Learning Journey program!!
