My reasons that logging is not good.
I don't think logging is good because they are cutting down loads of trees. Even though they are replanting them. The trees take for ever to grow. One of my other resins is that with all the trucks going to one place to another, there will be lots of petrol fums which is bad for the environment. My final reason is that, big industry's could be lying and not replacing the trees.

ReplyDeleteYou have told us your opinion on whether logging should be allowed in Aotearoa and given some reasons to support your opinion, ka pai. You made a good point about trucks releasing harmful fumes into the environment too, I like that you are thinking about other ways logging affects our land.
Perhaps next time you could talk a bit more about who is supposedly 'replanting' tree to replace what has been cut down. It takes years for trees to grow and only seconds to cut down.
Personally I’m against logging because I believe our animals deserve to live and thrive in their homes! Also, trees provide shade for us stay cool. Do you know any other important purposes trees serve?
