We have the Northern Lights in the northern hemisphere so I don't have the chance to see just what you see. But I think your Southern Lights would be similar to what we get to experience and so they are just spectacular!!
Your acrostic poem is super. I think you were, perhaps, thinking Christmas lights when you wrote this poem, rather than Southern Lights, but they're all beautiful, for sure.
Do you like to write poetry? You certainly use descriptive words that are just right for the theme. Well done!
